Somersby Out Jazz brings August soundtrack to Jamor in Oeiras – Portugal Resident
The Somersby Out Jazz festival returns to the Parque Urbano do Jamor throughout August, bringing a month of free outdoor concerts and DJ sets to Oeiras as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations.
Running from August 2 to 30, the festival will once again transform the park into an open-air venue showcasing jazz, soul, funk, electronic music and global sounds every Sunday from 5pm until sunset.
The August programme opens on August 2 with performances by Vicente Oliveira Sexteto and DJ Az Afar, followed by Lázaro Lercher 4Tet and TobyOne on August 9.
On August 16, Plantada joins Camboja Selecta & KI, while Hugo Trindade brings his Clinic Sessions alongside Sheri Vari on August 23. The month concludes on August 30 with performances by Milton Gulli and Lady G Brown.

In a break from its usual Jamor setting, the festival will stage a special free concert on Friday, August 7, in Praceta Dionísio Matias, Paço de Arcos. Beginning at 6pm, the event will feature Spam Collective and forms part of the festival’s popular first-Friday concerts held during its anniversary year.
Having moved from Miraflores after July’s programme, Out Jazz continues its tradition of combining live music with relaxed outdoor settings, attracting audiences of all ages to some of Oeiras’ most scenic public spaces.
Now in its 20th year, the festival has established itself as one of the Lisbon region’s best-loved summer cultural events, providing a platform for both emerging and established artists.
Somersby returns as the festival’s title sponsor, with support from Villa Oeiras, Montebelo Brasil, Oeiras Council, JAMOR, Espaço de Negócios, Encontro e Gerações, and the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth (IPDJ).
Admission to all events is free. The full programme is available on the festival’s official website and social media channels.

Looking ahead, the festival will continue into September, moving to the Jardins do Palácio Marquês de Pombal for another series of free Sunday sessions from 5pm until sunset. The programme features Júlio Resende Trio and Alexandre Barbosa & Pansorbe on September 6, Razy and Soulsista on September 13, and César Cardoso Quarteto with Oito Oito on September 20.
