F4 racing makes its return to Algarve – Portugal Resident

With 35 young drivers on the grid and five races scheduled across two action-packed days, Portimão will once again become a showcase for some of motorsport’s brightest emerging talents.

Among the championship contenders is Portuguese driver Noah Monteiro, who arrives at his home circuit sitting second in the standings and firmly in the hunt for the title.

After winning the Winter Championship, Monteiro trails the current leader by just 12 points and will be hoping home advantage can help him close the gap – or even leave the Algarve at the top of the leaderboard.

With 65 points available over the weekend, the Portimão round could prove pivotal in shaping the early title battle.

Joining Monteiro on the grid will be fellow Portuguese drivers Max Radeck and Maria Neto, both looking to make their mark in one of Europe’s toughest junior single-seater championships.

Recognised by the FIA, Spanish F4 has become one of the most important stepping stones for drivers dreaming of reaching Formula 1.

The championship regularly attracts top teams, international talent and fierce competition, with wheel-to-wheel battles often lasting from lights out to the chequered flag.

Tickets, which include paddock access, are available for €10 from the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve. Races begin at 11am.
